About FIPS modes
NetIM supports two FIPS modes: off and strict.
FIPS mode off
Allows all cryptographic modules provided by Java and is the default mode of operation for all installations of 2.11.0, both upgrades and new installs. Any future upgrades beyond 2.11.0 will preserve the configured FIPS mode.
FIPS mode strict
Configures NetIM to conform to FIPS 140-3.
